The Story Behind Vicvera
"I started as an RN in a jail facility where I worked with individuals between the ages of 20 to 30 struggling with addiction. Behind every one of them, there was an underlying mental health condition that had gone untreated or undertreated. I became deeply empathetic to their plight — and that empathy drove me to go into mental health and start my own practice, to help as many of those people as I could."
That experience shaped everything about how Vicvera Behavioral Health Services operates today. We understand that mental health challenges rarely exist in isolation — and that individualized, compassionate care can change the trajectory of a person's life.
